ROBA is the Rochester/Oakland Boardgamers Association. We meet on the last Saturday of every month to play board games.
These are not your old-school board games. There is a huge variety of games at each ROBA event, including the latest Euro-style and designer games. They involve more player decisions, interaction, and fun. All rules are taught.
Regardless of your favorite board game, ROBA exists to provide a safe and clean environment so that people of all ages can enjoy the hobby of board gaming and enjoy interaction with other people with similar interests.
ROBA meets at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in the Auburn Hills/Rochester Hills area. St. Luke's on the north side of Walton, east of Squirrel Road, just minutes from I-75 and across the street from Oakland University. The address is:
St. Luke's United Methodist Church 3980 Walton Blvd.
Rochester Hills, MI 48309
You are welcome to come any time between 1 pm and 9 pm. Bring your family and friends. There is no admission charge. ROBA provides snacks and soft drinks at a nominal cost. There is also a trade table where you can sell or trade your games.
